Originally from Yorkshire, John spent many years living overseas and travelling all over the world with his work in construction and project management software before settling in Whitley, just 10 miles from his University town of Bath, in 2008. He now manages a software consultancy in Leeds, splitting his time between his bachelor pad in Yorkshire and the office at the bottom of his garden

In his spare time, John can usually be found in his woodworking shop or knocking up a tree house. He's the person all his friends turn to for DIY advice (and tool hire).
