the steering group

The Shaw and Whitley Community Hub steering group meets approximately fortnightly and is busy shaping plans to make Shaw and Whitley Community Hub a reality. We are a group of six locals, passionate about creating a community enterprise to serve the villages of Whitley and Shaw, and we have a wide range of business skills and experience between us. But we cannot do this alone, and we are fortunate to have the active support of a group of around 60 villagers, plus offers of help when needed from business minds, electricians, marketing gurus, DIY enthusiasts, accountants, would-be shop assistants and many more. Even a nurse (who we very much hope we will not need!).
